About the Role

We’re hiring our first Product Manager.

This is a foundational role — you’ll help define how product is done at Per Diem and shape the future of our AI OS.

As the first PM, you’ll own core product areas, drive cross-functional alignment, and work directly with the founders to turn strategy into shipped features. You’ll act as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Design, ensuring we build the right things, at the right time, with the right level of impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead product strategy and execution across mobile app, web ordering, and AI-powered merchant tools
• Translate customer needs, sales feedback, and market data into clear product requirements
• Drive roadmap planning, prioritization, and communication across teams
• Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality, user-centric experiences
• Work with Sales and Marketing to support go-to-market, positioning, and rollouts
• Shape the product culture — define processes, rituals, and standards for the entire company
• Own the full product lifecycle: discovery → PRDs → execution → QA → launch → iteration
• Collaborate with leadership to build the next generation of AI automation for merchants

Who You Are

• 3–6 years of Product Management experience (SaaS, mobile, or marketplace preferred)
• Strong cross-functional communication skills — you can speak engineering, design, and business
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
• Comfortable owning multiple product lines end-to-end
• Highly organized with excellent prioritization instincts
• A builder mindset – you care about outcomes, not just process
• Excited to be the first PM and help shape the product function from scratch
• Bonus: experience with AI/ML products, marketing automation tools, or POS/e-commerce systems
