That is what we are building at Per Diem.
Our platform helps merchants launch branded apps, online ordering, loyalty, marketing, catering, and customer engagement tools — powered by AI and connected to the POS systems they already rely on.
We are a small, remote team building for real operators: coffee shop owners, restaurant teams, franchise groups, bakeries, cafes, and quick-service brands.

Our mission
Help restaurants own their customer relationship.
The POS runs the transaction. Per Diem helps grow the relationship around it.
We believe restaurants should know who their customers are, understand what they order, and have a direct way to bring them back — without depending only on marketplaces or generic tools.
We are building the customer operating system for restaurants: ordering, loyalty, marketing, catering, branded apps, customer data, and AI workflows in one place.
The AI software layer on top of the POS
Per Diem works with the systems restaurants already use and adds the customer growth layer on top.
We are building tools that help merchants:
- Launch their own branded mobile app
- Accept direct online orders
- Create loyalty and rewards programs
- Send smarter SMS, email, and push campaigns
- Grow catering and group orders
- Understand customer behavior
- Bring back lapsed customers
- Use AI to save time on daily marketing and operations
- Turn POS data into repeat orders
Our goal is simple: less manual work, better customer engagement, and more repeat customers.
How we work
We are remote, fast-moving, and focused on ownership.
We care less about how many hours you sit online and more about whether you solve real problems, communicate clearly, and move the product forward.
You will work closely with product, engineering, design, support, sales, and customers. We are still small enough that your work will be visible, but ambitious enough that there is a lot to build.
