Product Updates: Customer Journeys, TikTok Integration, and More

Product Updates: Customer Journeys, TikTok Integration, and More
Customer Journeys

Customer Journeys is now live in beta, giving merchants automations that reach customers in the mobile app at exactly the right moment. Restaurants can turn on cart reminders, first-order welcomes, win-back offers for lapsed customers, and location-based nudges when a customer is near a store, all without building anything from scratch. Six journeys are ready to turn on today, though full delivery depends on customers updating to the newest app version.

TikTok Integration

Merchants can now connect TikTok alongside Meta Pixel to track how their orders are performing on the platform. Conversion events from web orders flow directly into TikTok Ads Manager, making it easier to measure and optimize ad spend. Mobile app tracking is tagged for the next app version.

AI FAQ Generation on Website Builder

The FAQ page in Website Builder can now generate questions and answers automatically from a restaurant's business information. Instead of writing FAQ content from scratch, merchants can generate a starting point with one click and edit from there.

Block Orders: 10-Minute Time Windows

Block Orders now works in 10-minute increments instead of full hours, giving merchants finer control over exactly when to pause incoming orders. This makes it easier to block a short window, like closing early for a delivery run, without blocking more time than necessary.

Block Devices That Create Multiple Accounts

Devices that create two accounts within 30 days are now automatically blocked from new signups for 30 days. The block applies across every location in a franchise and lifts automatically once the window passes, helping restaurants cut down on signup abuse.

Gift Card App-Only Purchase Messaging

Customers now see a message before buying a gift card letting them know it can only be redeemed in the mobile app. This helps set expectations upfront and cuts down on confusion at checkout.

Curbside Parking Spot

Curbside customers can now add their parking spot or zone along with their vehicle info when placing an order. Staff can see these details and find customers faster without guessing where they're parked.

Default Recommended Tip for Large Delivery Orders

Delivery orders over $300 placed through DoorDash or Uber Eats now come with a recommended tip of about 20% pre-selected. Customers can still edit or remove it, but the default makes it easier for them to tip appropriately on larger orders.
