April 2026

What’s New at Per Diem — April 2026

This month’s updates focus on helping you manage your menu more easily, improve how your products show up online, and give you more tools to drive customer engagement and marketing.

Website builder and SEO tools

The first version of the website builder is now live.

You can start setting up your own web storefront with draft configurations and an improved AI setup flow. Alongside this, AI powered SEO recommendations are now available to help optimize your website pages.

These updates move toward a fully self-serve way to launch and manage your online presence alongside Square.

Item reviews now live on web

Customers can now leave reviews and ratings on individual items.

Reviews appear directly on your storefront and can be enabled from the dashboard. This gives you clearer insight into what customers like and helps build trust through visible feedback.

Menu management and category control

Menu management is now more flexible and easier to control.

Square category menu integration allows better syncing and structure, while new controls let you manage category ordering, item visibility, and scheduling more cleanly.

These updates make it easier to keep your menu accurate and organized, especially as it grows.

Product display improvements

Product information now shows more clearly across web and mobile.

Customers can expand longer descriptions with a “show more” option, and product images display more cleanly at the item level.

This helps customers make better decisions while ordering.

Customer engagement and notifications

New tools make it easier to engage customers early.

You can now send push notifications to newly signed up customers, helping you guide their first order or promote offers right away. Marketing calendar updates and improved banner notifications also give more control over campaigns.

Delivery and order flow updates

Ordering and delivery flows have been refined across the platform.

Delivery timing calculations are more consistent, order confirmation steps are clearer, and presale order handling has been improved. Additional updates improve how tracking and notifications behave during the order process.

Store credit and checkout updates

Store credit handling has been expanded.

Customers can now reload store credit with proper location based handling, and checkout reflects this more accurately across different stores and setups.

Catering and communication settings

Email settings now include better visibility into catering related communication.

This helps keep order communication clearer, especially for higher value or scheduled orders.

Global and platform support

Support has been expanded for international users.

Brazilian phone numbers are now fully supported with proper formatting and validation.
