Convivio Café

Convivio Café is the coffee spot you accidentally discover and immediately text your friends about.  This women- and immigrant-owned spot channels Guatemalan traditions in every detail, from the café’s name (Convivio = gathering) to the way they source their beans (grown in Guatemala, roasted by the farmers, and brewed here with care).

Coffee is the obvious star, but it’s the menu surprises that keep you coming back: an espresso spiked with California blood orange and tonic, or ponche scones that make you swear off basic pastries forever.

The café’s 1926 building serves as a backdrop for art shows, cultural events, and casual meet-ups that somehow always end up turning into something memorable. It’s equal parts caffeine fix and cultural hub, where you might come for a quick drink and leave with plans to check out an art show next weekend.
