Magpies Bakery

If you’re after something sweet, Magpies is non-negotiable. Known for their custom cakes and cupcakes, they’ve also got cookies, cheesecakes, pies, and an endless rotation of other baked goods. Everything tastes rich, real, and made with care. The chocolate mocha strawberry cake is a local legend, and they even offer military discounts.

Sam & Zoe’s

This one’s a local staple. Sam & Zoe’s has been serving up locally roasted coffee, fresh-baked pastries, and homemade lunch fare in Berry Hill for years. The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and perfect for catching up with a colleague or digging into a writing session. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, including a cozy patio for nicer days.

Red Bicycle Coffee & Crêpes

Red Bicycle makes it easy to swing by for a Nutella-stuffed crêpe or a sweet purple haze iced latte. The menu also includes tacos and sandwiches, so it works whether you’re hungry or just in the mood for something small. It’s bright, casual, and a great option after the farmers' market.
